Cleveland’s biggest radio show weighs in on “Edmund” Fitzgerald’s pledge

As you’ve probably heard, Ed Fitzgerald is challenging Governor Kasich to sign a pledge that he will serve out a full 4 year term as governor if he is reelected.

Never mind that Fitzgerald didn’t serve out his term as Lakewood mayor before running for Cuyahoga County Executive. Never mind that Governor Kasich has already served a full 4-year term as governor.

The pledge is a ridiculous, hypocritical gimmick and everybody knows it. Even in Fitzgerald’s home town. The Mike Trivisonno Show is easily the highest rated radio show in Cleveland. Check out their reaction to the news when it came out. Hilarious stuff.

“Is there a bigger debacle politically than Edmund Fitzgerald?”

The Plain Dealer also published this cartoon by Jeff Darcy.

Poor Edmund Fitzgerald. His campaign is such a joke that even the media in his own hometown is mocking him.
