In liberal Athens, Ed Fitzgerald draws a monster crowd of…20

Athens has to be the most liberal city in southeast Ohio. So, naturally, Democratic politicians usually make quite a few stops there to rally their base. Edmund Jitzferald made a stop there over the weekend on his follow-up announcement tour.

Cuyahoga County executive Ed FitzGerald stopped in Athens on Saturday morning as he works to get gain support and recognition amongst Democrats across Ohio.

A group of about twenty people, consisting mostly of students with Ohio University College Democrats, met FitzGerald at Ohio University’s Baker Center.

FitzGerald spent most of the time attacking the Republican but offering few details on his positions on specific issues.

20 people showed up.

20.

One of the Ohio University college Dems actually tweeted a photo of it.

Uhhh… where is everyone? You know I’m running for governor, right?

This is getting downright embarrassing.
