When longtime Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur endorsed Public Official 14 in his bumbling attempt to unseat Governor John Kasich, I wasn’t sure how to approach my comments on the subject.  And then the Cleveland Plain Dealer came out with a complete gem.

And the headline speaks for itself:
    CPDHeadline
…shocking no one.”  That about sums it up.

The article is well worth the read.  Kaptur’s endorsement comes with little fanfare because it was expected.  The release of the endorsement, as the author goes on to say, seems to be nothing more than a political calculation to mend fences with Democrats in Toledo, particularly after The Toledo Blade called out Fitzy, saying he may have “no business running for governor.

This just adds to a long string of negatives surrounding the presumptive Democrat gubernatorial nominee.  Ed Fitzgerald is in for a long, long campaign season.

I have to say I was disgusted by Kasich’s appearance on Cavuto justifying expanding Medicaid by saying something to the effect that he was spreading the wealth around and responsible to God when he gets to heaven for helping the poor. He sure seems like he cares more about his own power and welfare than the welfare of the people of the state.; he also seems like he is walking down the Obama path of expanding government assistance for votes.
