Sherrod Brown’s Wall of Shame

It is truly ridiculous that a moderate swing state like Ohio is represented by the most liberal member of the U.S. Senate. Sherrod Brown’s voting record and his various statements and actions over the last 2-3 years are equally appalling.

We’ve tried to stay on top of all of Sherrod Brown’s outrageous antics here at 3BP. What follows is a compilation of the stories that stand out the most. “Sherrod Brown’s Greatest Hits”, so to speak. Or more appropriately, “why Sherrod Brown doesn’t deserve reelection.”

This page will be permanently featured on our sidebar, at least until the election.

There are in no particular order. Enjoy…

Sherrod Brown mocked Mike DeWine for voting with President Bush so often, and then went on to vote with Barack Obama…98% of the time.

Yep, it’s true. Follow the link for the video. Of course, this won’t be the only example of Sherrod Brown being a hypocrite.

Sherrod Brown Compares GOP Governors to Hitler, Stalin

Bizarrely, Sherrod claims he’s not comparing Kasich, Walker, and Christie to Hitler, Stalin, and Mubarak in the middle of comparing them to Hitler, Stalin, and Mubarak. While he’s conflating overdue reforms with mass murder, Sherrod also repeats one of his favorite deceptions by pretending government unions are the same as private industry unions.

Think that’s ridiculous? Look at what comes next.

After being recorded on the Senate floor comparing GOP Governors to Hitler, Sherrod Brown denies comparing GOP Governors to Hitler

Sherrod was appearing on his favorite network, MSNBC, and denies he did it. You’ve heard of C-SPAN, right Senator? They record that stuff. Click the link to see the SMH-worthy video.

“Everybody knows that government creates jobs!”

Words of economic wisdom from admitted socialist Bernie Sanders of Vermont? No. As you’ve probably guessed by now, it was Ohio’s Sherrod Brown.

He said that the 2009 stimulus would create a certain number of Ohio jobs. Click the link to find out how he did with that prediction.

Passing a budget is not “all that meaningful”.

After claiming several years ago that budgets are “moral documents”, Sherrod Brown now says that passing a budget isn’t all that meaningful.

That sound you hear is the Sherrod Brown hypocritometer going off again.

Sherrod Brown’s wife videotapes his opponent while on the clock for the Cleveland Plain Dealer

Sherrod is married to Plain Dealer columnist Connie Schultz. Actually, she used to work for the Plain Dealer, before our story came out. Connie was covering a tea party event in Lorain County and wrote a column about it. What she didn’t tell you was that Sherrod’s opponent spoke at the event. And she videotaped him. That’s a big no-no for a supposedly objective journalist.

Guess who doesn’t work for the Plain Dealer anymore?

“The energy coming out of Occupy Wall Street is always a good thing!”

Singing “F— the USA”?
Celebrating mass murderer Che Guevera?
Crapping on police cars?
Rapes?
Communists and socialists galore?

Always a good thing, according to Sherrod Brown.

2006 and 2008: High gas prices are Bush and DeWine’s fault! 2011: high gas prices are not Obama and Brown’s fault.

Sherrod Brown and his Democrats had controlled Congress for 4 years, and Barack Obama had been in the White House for 2 years. Following Sherrod’s logic, surely he and President Obama are at fault for the recent return to high gas prices, right? Click the link to find out.

High gas prices are “just a political thing”

Six years ago, Sherrod Brown blamed the president for high gas prices. Now? It’s “just a political thing”.

Sherrod Brown describes Congress as “niggardly”

Sensitive Sherrod. If he isn’t comparing you to Hitler and Stalin, he’s probably using a racially offensive adjective to describe you.

Sherrod Brown celebrates THREE years without passing a budget

Those moral documents aren’t all that meaningful anyway. Right, Senator Brown?

Sherrod Brown joins the Obama War on Coal

We get 86% of our electricity from coal here in Ohio. Coal is also the source of thousands of jobs in our state.

Barack Obama’s policies will have the effect of skyrocketing electricity prices, just like he promised.

So which side did Sherrod Brown take? The side of Ohioans or the extreme policies of Barack Obama? Click to find out.

Sherrod’s campaign dismisses Josh Mandel’s service in Iraq as a Marine, says Brown is the “experienced veteran of the wars on Capitol Hill.”

Apparently, there is no level to which Sherrod Brown and his campaign won’t lower themselves to. Sherrod has never been in the military. Josh Mandel has served his country in the Marines and risked his life during two tours in Iraq.

But Sherrod wants you to forget that. When you think of who the veteran is in this race, Sherrod thinks HE should come to mind. All actual veterans should be insulted.

Sherrod allegedly abused his first wife

His wife accused him of “extreme cruelty” and “harassment”; she said she was “in fear for the safety … of myself and our children,” and accused Sherrod of “physical violence.” In fact, she said, Brown had “struck and bullied me on several different occasions.”

Sherrod Brown accuses Mandel of…a fake accent?

Ahhh! Accentgate! Stop the presses!

Sherrod Brown is so anxious to talk about ANYTHING other than his own pathetic record, that he will pretty much say anything to distract Ohioans. Even talk about accents. Give us a break, Senator.

Sherrod Brown uses an anti-Semitic phrase against his Jewish opponent

Are you starting to notice a pattern here? When Sherrod Brown gets desperate, he reaches for the Hitler and Nazi attacks. Not very befitting of a Senator, Sherrod.
