Zawistowski: Dems secretly conspiring with Kasich to lose the election

Tom Zawistowski, President of the Portage County Tea Party, has a history of making wacky accusations. (He still hasn’t offered any proof that 3BP is a paid blog).

This morning he sent an email and launched a new attack against the governor. That he and Democrats have conspired together to make sure Democrats get what they want, in exchange for Democrats throwing the election.

Pay off: Democrats put up Ed Fitzgerald as a “show candidate” for Governor whose job it is to lose the election, while the unions and the national Democrat party put up little resistance in a key state, because they are already getting everything they want from RINO John Kasich. Why should the Democrats spend any money to fight Kasich when they can get billions of our tax dollars and big government programs from the Governor as a payoff to support his re-election? There are no coincidences in politics.

Wanting to make sure that I understood him correctly, I emailed Tom and asked him “Are you saying that Ohio Democrats are conspiring with the governor to reelect him?”

Tom responded,

Yes, that is exactly what I am saying.

Do you honestly think the the National Democratic Party, if they were seriously wanting to win Ohio, would have allowed Fitzgerald to pick his Lt. Governor form Cincinnati with no vetting??? Who turned out to be a disaster and embarrassment and had to be removed from the ticket. Get serous. They would have hand picked his Lt. Governor.

Fitzgerald had a meeting in Toledo to announce his candidacy and there were 40 people there in a Democratic Union town. The Union are sitting it out and some are even giving money to Kasich as reported in the Toledo Blade. Their are not coincidences in politics.

I know that Tom is disappointed that Kasich has governed more from the center than he would like.

But not for a second do I believe that Democrats would ever be happy to NOT be in power, no matter what they thought they were getting in return.

In my opinion, Ohio Democrats settled with a bottom of the barrel, no-name candidate for governor who is incompetent and far from ready for primetime. Any talk of Fitzgerald being a “show candidate” is just silly.

The entire text of Zawistowski’s email to his readers is below.

JOHN KASICH = RINO

This is how you buy an election using our tax dollars . . .

Step 1: Mortgage the Ohio Turnpike and give a $4 Billion dollar gift to NE Ohio Constructions Unions – he intentionally restricted the construction to roads North of Route 30 in Canton.

Step 2: Campaign for and help pass a $15 mil Cleveland School District Tax Levy that increased property taxes on a $60,000 home by $300 per year as a gift to the Cleveland Teachers Union. Then call one of the worst school districts in our nation a “model” for other school districts to follow.

Step 3: Force Medicaid Expansion on Ohio Tax payers against the wishes of your party and the public as a $2 Billion gift to the most powerful liberal group in the state, the Greater Cleveland Partnership and the Ohio Hospital Association. Doing so increases medicaid spending in Ohio to more that 50% of the state budget with no assurance that Washington will provide continued funding in the future leaving Ohio tax payers to fund this new welfare program for decades to come.

Step 4: Use nefarious methods to eliminate all competition in the election by jamming through Senate Bill 193, then when that got thrown out by the courts, get the Libertarian candidate thrown off the ballot by what a federal judge strongly suggested was an effort funded by the Republican Party to challenge his ballot petitions on a technicality.
