Fitz and Kearney draw “packed” crowd of 20 in Dayton

After picking State Senator Eric Kearney to be his running mate yesterday in typical Fitz-barrassing fashion, Ed Fitzgerald and Kearney are spending two days on the road around Ohio making stops to rally for the new ticket.

The campaign continues to have huge trouble generating enthusiasm. But Ohio Dems continue to pretend quite the opposite and even are tweeting out photos of the train wreck.

Today’s event in Dayton was apparently held in a private residence. Check out the tweet from ODP Communications Director Jerid Kurtz.

House in Dayton for @Fitzgeraldforoh & Eric Kearney is PACKED. Scrunch in close friends.

They shoved 20 people into someone’s dining room so they could say it was PACKED.

Here’s another one from Ohio Democrat Erik GreatHouse.

Huge turnout in Dayton for the big announcement by Ed @FitzGeraldforOH. All @OHDems are excited here!!

Guys! Look at this turnout! 20 peoplez is huge!!!

The “huge turnout” at this “PACKED” event was so great that it there isn’t a single mention of it on the Dayton Daily News website.

Watching Kurtz and the boys describe these “rallies” as huge events is getting pretty hysterical.
