Governor Martin Davey is rolling over in his grave.

The Governor of Ohio from 1935-1939 was Martin Davey. And he’s rolling over in his grave. Probably from laughing so hard.

Why? Well apparently when people seemed to be moving faster than normal in the old black and white silent films of the 1920s and 30s, it wasn’t an illusion.

After all, how else do you explain an actual train schedule from 1935 showing a trip between Cincinnati to Cleveland taking five and a half hours?

Why is that so amazing? Because Ted Strickland’s new 3-C slow speed choo choo would take an hour longer to make the same trip.

Seriously.

This is just downright embarrassing.

3BP now has Governor Envy of a dead guy.
