It’s all Virginia and New Jersey these days.

Regular readers of 3BP may be sick of me continuing to beat the drum about the importance of this November’s gubernatorial elections in New Jersey and Virginia.

Too bad.

Politico recently posted an article confirming that these elections are being recognized as far from simply referendums on each state. They have national implications.

How do we know? Labor is going all-in.

Organized labor is betting big in Virginia and New Jersey, where two critical off-year gubernatorial races are taking place in November.

[…]

For labor, it’s an all-out, no-holds-barred effort in both states aimed at pushing Corzine and Deeds over the finish line.

Clearly, this is another indication that the left feels they have more to lose if either of these states fall.

Remember the mantra, Virginia and New Jersey are blue states. Winning either would be considered a major win for Republicans and sound an alarm for the Obama Administration and Democrat Congress.
