Ohio drops in latest Forbes rankings of Best States for Business

Ted Strickland, this is your fault.

Each year, Forbes Magazine ranks the best states for business.

Last year Ohio was 37th. This year Ohio is 38th.

But it gets worse. Much worse.

In the key “economic climate” portion of the rankings, which reflects job, income and gross state product growth as well as unemployment and presence of big companies, Ohio comes in at 46th.

And thanks to Strickland’s failure to instill any confidence in the state, our labor force ranking sits at 47th.
