Strike 2.

What was so “major” about Ted’s speech?

Nothing.

Jim Heath of ONN noticed the content early on closely mirrored exactly what Strickland said in his State of the State speech.

Once again, Strickland bragged about a CSG report showing Ohio number one in green jobs. Interestingly enough, 90% of those jobs came from the weatherization program. The same weatherization program that maintained a 40% failure rate in the state inspector general’s report.

Then he touted the number of college graduates coming out of Ohio’s schools. Too bad he failed to mention how they all are leaving thanks to Ohio’s jobs crisis.

Then, to no one’s surprise, Ted went on the attack against Kasich, cherry picking votes from his time in Congress. The “throw everything at the wall and hope something sticks” strategy isn’t exactly known as a winner. But at this point, after spending over $3 million in attacks that didn’t work, you can’t blame Ted if he keeps swinging wildly.
