My quick take on the recent Ohio Senate controversy?
The NRSC had some fun with their internet ad. No, it wasn’t trying to show Lee Fisher masturbating. It was a funny way to highlight Fisher’s failures as Jobs Czar.
The ODP response? I actually have no problem with it either. While the execution is lacking, the concept is amusing, and it encapsulates the message they want to send.
But that’s where I get confused.
Do the Democrats really want to reinforce the message that Ohio jobs are vanishing? We’ve covered time and time again how, historically speaking, connecting an opponent to a former Administration hasn’t proven to be successful.
Instead, under a Democratic Administration they are forcing the meme that Ohio is in bad shape. That damages the incumbent Party.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not complaining. I just don’t get it.
