This morning we documented the Ohio Democratic Party/Labor rally being held today at the Ohio Statehouse. If you’ll recall, the event page on Facebook for the rally had only three RSVPs.
Well, from the looks of it, that number wasn’t too far off. Here’s a pic from the rally taken just a few moments ago.
I see they have an amplification system. Somehow, I don’t think that’s really necessary.
But what’s particularly funny is this quote from Mary Jo Kilroy at the event as provided by ONN’s Jim Heath:
Really, Congresswoman?
You’re speaking to a few dozen union members who were shipped in and you don’t think there is an enthusiasm gap?
It’s lunch hour. At the Statehouse. In the political capital of Ohio. With free food.
And look at the crowd.
No, Congresswoman, there is a gap. And it’s staring you in the face.
